Established in 1975, Dietetics in Health Care Communities (DHCC) represents almost 3,000 members of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics working in wide-ranging areas of the health care arena.

VISION: DHCC members optimize the nation's health through food and nutrition.

DHCC Sub-units

Corrections and Dietetic Technicians are tailored to help meet the needs of these specialized practice areas. There is no extra cost for DHCC members! It is a Member Benefit!

CORRECTIONS SUB-UNIT

The Corrections Sub-unit is the advocate and resource for food and nutrition professionals working in the field of corrections by supporting them through current information, trends, regulations, research, tools and networking opportunities.

DIETETIC TECHNICIANS SUB-UNIT

Beginning June 1, 2018, the DTP community joined forces with the Dietetics in Health Care Communities (DHCC) DPG as the Sub-unit Dietetic Technicians. The Dietetic Technicians Sub-unit will continue to advocate for DTRs/NDTRs, provide education about scope of practice and opportunities to network while also contributing to the overall goals of DHCC.
