The Dietetics in Health Care Communities DPG is seeking 2 DPG members to serve as authors of the Revised Scope and Standards of Practice for RDNs (Competent, Proficient, and Expert) in Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Nutrition.

Author expectations include dedicating time for: document development (6-9 months), DPG and CDR’s Practice Competence Committee review process (4 months), and proofing and publication (4 months).

Authors requirements:

• flexibility in work schedule for virtual meetings/calls with authors, DPG Executive Committee Reviewer, and CDR Staff;
• holds the CSG credential
• a variety of work/volunteer experience to speak to the depth and breadth of post-acute long-term care, and
• be familiar with the relevant resources, literature, and evidence-based research in post-acute long-term care to provide background and references for the article content.

Authors will be supported by both DHCC DPG and CDR during the project. CDR will provide orientation/training call(s), document development support, among other resources. Access the current Focus Area Scope and Standards of Practice here.
